Warping Text
Warping allows you to distort text into a variety of shapes such as arc, wave or twist.
To warp text:
1. Open an image containing text.
2. In the Layers panel, select the Type layer.
3. In the Tools panel, select the Type tool.
4. In the Options bar, click the Create Warped Text button. 4
The Warp Text dialog box opens. 8
5. Click the Style down arrow and select a
warp style. 6
6. Select the Horizontal or Vertical
orientation for the warp.
7. If required, set the values for Bend,
Horizontal Distortion, and Vertical 5
Distortion. 7
8. Click the OK button.
USING FILTERS
Photoshop provides a variety of filters to change the appearance of images.
Applying a Filter 3
You can apply a filter to an entire layer or a selected portion of a layer.
To apply a filter:
1. Open a saved image.
2. Select the layer or a particular portion of a layer on which you want
to apply the filter.
3. On the Application Bar, click Filter. 4
4. Select a category of the filter and click a filter you want to apply.
5. If a dialog box associated with the filter opens, specify
the values or select options for the filter and click the OK
button.
