Hybrid Apps
A Hybrid app is a combination of a native app and a web app. It is installed on the device and
can function without an Internet connection, but some data is stored on the cloud and cannot be
accessed without an Internet connection. Music and video streaming apps and gaming apps are
examples of hybrid apps.

Based on the content they provide and deliver, apps can be grouped under various categories.
Educational Apps
These apps provide content for students and learners. Some
content is free, but for premium content, you have to pay
a subscription charge. Byju’s, Duolingo, and Lumosity are
examples of educational apps.
