5.  Release the mouse button when you reach the end of

                  the desired range of cells.

                  Excel fills the range of cells with a series that continues
                  the pattern of the initial two cell  values.

            EDITING CELL CONTENTS
            You can edit the contents of a cell in two ways:

               •  Overwriting the content completely          • Modifying the content partially              2    1

            Overwriting Cell Contents
            To overwrite the contents of a cell completely:

              1.  Select the cell whose content you want to overwrite.

              2.  Type the new content in the cell.

                  Double-click in the Formula bar and type the new content.

              3.  Press the Enter key.


                                              Modifying Cell Contents
             1                                To modify the content of a cell partially:

                                                1.  Select the cell whose content you want to modify.

                                                2.  Double-click inside the cell or click the Formula bar.

            Deleting Cell Contents
            To delete the contents of a cell, select the cell or range of cells whose contents you want to delete
            and press the Delete key.

              The contents of the selected cell or range of cells are deleted.










            UNDO AND REDO COMMANDS
            Excel keeps track of all the changes that you make to a worksheet. The Undo command is used to
            cancel the last action or a series of recent actions. The Redo command is used to reverse an action
            or a series of actions that were cancelled by the Undo command.
