4. Click the Apply To All button to apply the current transition effect with all selected settings to
all the slides in the presentation.
PowerPoint applies the specified transition settings to the selected slides.
Removing Transition
You can remove the transition from a slide if it is not required anymore. 2
To remove a transition from a slide:
1. Select the slide from which you want to remove
the transition.
2. On the Transitions tab, click the More button in
the Transition to This Slide group. 1
The Transitions gallery appears.
3 3. Under the Subtle category, select the
None option.
PowerPoint removes the transition
from the selected slide.
REHEARSING TIMINGS FOR A SLIDE SHOW
The Rehearse Timings feature allows you to practise a slide show to figure out how much time you
need to present each slide. It helps you ensure that the presentation finishes within a stipulated time
period.
To rehearse the timing for a slide show:
1. On the Slide Show tab, click the Rehearse Timings
button in the Set Up group.
The Slide show starts, and the Recording toolbar
appears at the top left corner of the screen.

2. Practise presenting the slide and click the Next button
2 in the Recording toolbar to move to the next slide.
3. Repeat step 2 for all the slides.
After the slide show ends, a dialog
box opens. It displays the total time
for the slide show and prompts you
to save the timing. 4
4. Click the Yes button to save the rehearse timings and use it to run the slide show.
Removing Narrations or Rehearse Timings
To remove narrations or saved timings from a slide show:
1. On the Slide Show tab, click the Record Slide Show down arrow in the Set Up group.
A menu appears.
