PARTS OF PAINT WINDOW
The parts of Paint window are described below.
Quick Access Toolbar Title Bar
Ribbon
Drawing Area
Title Bar: It is present at the top of the window. It displays the name of the
drawing and the name of the program i.e., Paint.
Quick Access Toolbar: It includes buttons for commonly used commands
such as Save, Undo, and Redo.
Ribbon: The Ribbon is present below the Title bar. It provides various tools
to draw and colour pictures. It is divided in Tabs and Groups.
Drawing Area: The blank white area in the centre of the Paint window is the
Drawing Area. It looks like a drawing sheet.
Tools Group
The Tools group on the Home tab provides you various tools to make and
colour drawings. Some common tools in the Tools group are:
¾ Pencil : This tool is used to draw freehand using the mouse.
