Step 3: Click the Open button. The picture gets inserted in the slide in place of the placeholder.

Inserting an Image From the Gallery
The Gallery provides a convenient way to add reusable objects such as graphics and sounds that you can insert
into your documents.
To insert a Gallery image into an Impress presentation:

Step 1: Click on Insert  Media  Gallery option.

Step 2: The Gallery will open in the Sidebar. Navigate through the Gallery to fi nd the desired picture.
