Editing a Report
A Report is basically a Writer document that acquires data from Base. Therefore, you can edit a report like any
other Writer document. For example, you can change the alignment of the Name column. When you edit a
report, you must save it using the Save button from the Standard toolbar.
Inserting Titles and Headings
To add a title to the report, follow the given steps:
Step 1: Click on the Label tool available on the Report Controls toolbar.
Step 2: Position the mouse pointer on the report and then, click and drag to insert the label textbox.
Step 3: Double click the Label text box. The Properties: Label dialog box appears. Enter the title text that you
want to display in the Label property textbox, say “Employee Data” and format it using the Font
property.
