Introduction
Sustainable development helps in attaining development in all fields without causing any harm to the
environment. As we already know, it has three dimensions—ecological dimension, economical dimension, and
social dimension. By integration of all these three dimensions at all levels we can attain the goal of sustainable
development easily.

Principles of Sustainable Development

The main principles of sustainable development are:
Improving quality of human life Caring for all forms of life

Minimise depletion of natural resources Conserving Earth’s vitality and diversity
Influencing attitudes towards environment Enabling communities to care for their own environment
