Let’s Learn Gender of Nouns
The term gender tells us whether a noun or pronoun is masculine, feminine, common or
neuter.
A noun that denotes a male is said to be a masculine gender. For example:
Manish, dog, bull

A noun that denotes a female is said to be a feminine gender. For example:
Manisha, bitch, cow

A noun that denotes either a male or a female is said to be of the common gender.
For example: student, person, baby, neighbour
A noun that denotes a non-living thing is said to be of the neuter gender.
For example: book, table, pen
Formation of Feminine Gender
We can change the masculine gender nouns or pronouns into feminine gender nouns or
pronouns in many ways. Some of these have been discussed here.
