Open Sesame

A tense indicates time and condition of the subject. A tense is inherent in
the verb. A sentence of present tense means the present time.

Let’s Learn the Use of Verbs in Present Tense

The present tense tells us about the actions that happen every day or are

        facts that do not change.

We add -s or -es to the verbs with singular nouns and singular pronouns—
        he, she and it.

                            She sleeps. It rains.

The horse gallops. He goes to school.
