Self-Reliant

You are self-reliant if you are able to make decisions by yourself and complete tasks without the
support of others. The Government introduced the “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan” campaign, with
the vision of making the country and its citizens independent and self-reliant in all senses.

Let us learn about the five pillars of this campaign.

1 Economy, which should bring quantum leap rather than
incremental progress.

2 Infrastructure, which should be world class and
become the identity of India.

3 Technology Driven System, that can fulfill the aspirations
of the 21st century and is not reliant on previous policies.

4 Vibrant Demography, which is the source of
energy for self-reliant India.

5 Demand, whereby the strength of our demand and supply
chain should be utilised to full capacity by empowering
the stakeholders in our supply chain.
