Read the given sentences and circle the describing words.
1. The dog is a faithful animal.
2. This is a small house.

An adjective is a word used to add something to the meaning of a noun or a pronoun.
Often, we describe some quality of a noun. It is done by adding a suitable word before
the noun.
Let us read some examples.
1. The camel is a big animal.
2. Get me a hot cup of tea.
3. She is very fond of cold drinks.
4. This man is very fat.
5. The earth has a round shape.
