        Symmetry of 2D Figures

        Let us explore the symmetry in 2D shapes and figures. Triangle, circle, square, etc. are all 2D shapes and these
        shapes may have one, two, more or no lines of symmetry.

        Triangles

        Not all shapes have lines of symmetry, or they may have several lines of symmetry. For example, a triangle can
        have 3 or 1 or no lines of symmetry:









            Equilateral Triangle                      Isosceles Triangle                       Scalene Triangle

        Quadrilaterals
        Different types of quadrilaterals (a 4-sided plane shape) have different lines of symmetry.
