H. Write all odd numbers between 15 and 24. ___________________

I. Write all even numbers between 83 and 90. ___________________

A C T I V I T Y T I M E

Objective:

To emphasise the concept of odd and even numbers.

Materials Required:

Colourful bindis, drawing sheets and pencil.

Procedure:

1. This activity will be done in pairs.

2. The teacher will write a number between 1 and 20 on the board, say 17.

3. Taking turns, the partners will paste the bindis
on the paper in pairs.

4. There will be 8 pairs and 1 bindi left alone. 17

5. The teacher will write another number on
the board, say 12 and again the children will

paste 12 bindis on the sheet in Pairs. 12
6. There will be 6 pairs and none will be left alone.

7. The activity shall be carried on for more numbers.
