9 Patterns

Warm Up

● We have learnt about patt erns in previous classes. A patt ern is a collection of shapes,
numbers or lett ers which are repeated.
● Patt erns are present everywhere around us. We can see the patt erns on fl owers, leaves,
walls, buildings, clothes, etc.

Patterns

Patt erns can exist in shapes, numbers and lett ers or words. They may be repeating

patt erns, increasing patt erns, decreasing patt erns, direction patt erns, etc. All the patt erns
obey specifi c rules.
