WORD PROBLEMS ON MULTIPLICATION AND DIVISION OF DECIMALS
Let’s learn through examples given below:

              Let’s Attempt
                                                                                                            12.75
Example 1: The price of 1 kg wheat flour is ` 12.75. Find the cost of 13 kg wheat flour. ×13
        Solution: Cost of 1 kg flour = ` 12.75 38.25
                          Cost of 13 kg of flour = ` (12.75 × 13) +127.50

                                                               = ` 165.75 165.75
Example 2: The product of two decimals is 4.41. If one of them is 0.7, find the other decimal.

Solution: Product of two decimals = 4.41
                                  Given decimal = 0.7
                       \ The other decimal = 4.41 ÷ 0.7 = 6.3
