REFLECTION SYMMETRY
Reflection symmetry is the extension of linear symmetry. Here, the object and its
image are symmetrical with reference to the mirror line.
For example, in Fig., the letter D when reflected through the mirror is shown as
We may notice that when an object is reflected:

� There is no change in the dimensions of the object.
� There is no change in the angle.
� Reflection symmetry is also known as line symmetry.
� The mirror image is as far behind the mirror as the object is in front of the mirror.
