Example 5: 24 eggs can be packed in one egg tray. How many trays 5 6
will Ameena need to pack 1365 eggs? How many eggs 1 3 6 5
will be left? 24 – 1 2 0
Solution: Number of eggs to be packed = 1365 1 6 5
Number of eggs that can be packed in a tray = 24 – 1 4 4
Number of trays required = 1365 ÷ 24 = 56 2 1
Hence, 56 trays are required and 21 eggs will be left.
