YOGA THERAPY THERAPY
YOGA
(1) We place an excessive amount of emphasis on our health and sickness treatment.
A vast majority of medications just address the symptoms of an illness rather than
the underlying cause. Many chronic illnesses, in fact, are still being investigated. Yoga
comes to our aid in this situation.
(2) Yoga focuses on treating the underlying cause of an illness. It works slowly, subtly,
and miraculously. Modern medicine can claim to save a life at a crucial point, but
one must believe in the efficacy of Yoga therapy for total recovery and resumption
of normal health.
(3) This poll found that 34.3 per cent of respondents said that practising yoga had improved
their concentration, which is similar to a previous study that found that 95.3 per cent
of people agreed that yoga improves concentration, especially among young children.
(4) A code of ethics, restrictions, and discipline, as well as prayer and meditation, are all
part of the Yogic way of life. Even having a conversation about these topics might help
to reduce mental stress and change mindsets. Simple Asanas help to stretch, relax,
and release tension in the entire body. Yoga poses, when practised with sincerity, are
good for both the mind and the body.
(5) Yoga has a significant impact on the inner workings of the mind as well when practised
regularly. The graph given here shows a breakup of the various benefits of yoga for
a regular practitioner. In all, Yoga helps to improve the mental, physical, spiritual, as
well as emotional capabilities of its practitioners. Other types of physical activity, such
as aerobics, solely provide physical benefits. They have very little to do with spiritual
and mental growth.
