                      11. A contextual approach to leisure to research can help researchers better
understand leisure education policies and how they are implemented. This
can also assist health professionals in making informed decisions about how
to redirect adolescent energy into developmentally helpful leisure activities.

IX. Read the following passage carefully.

                                          YOUTH AND
                                          YOUTH AND SOCIETYSOCIETY
                (1) In the context of India’s peace-building efforts, youth are frequently viewed as victims
or perpetrators of violence, rather than as enablers who may contribute significantly to
peace-building. Despite the fact that adolescents have been granted a legally binding
United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 that stresses their role, this scenario
                     persists.
                (2) Young people have now become victims of governmental negligence, draconian security
measures, and isolation from numerous stakeholders due to the misconceptions about
them. If the youth are to play an efficacious part in India’s peace-building, this must
                     change for them for good.

                (3) In today’s culture, youth and peace are inextricably interwoven. The youth can play
a significant role in bringing about societal peace. According to a poll, the number of
deaths caused by violence during protests has climbed dramatically since the 1990s.
In 1990, the death rate per 1,000 people was 2.5. However, in 2010, it grew to 7.5.
It’s just heartbreaking. It needs to be examined.

                (4) So, despite the fact that young people are among the most affected by the multiple
and often interconnected forms of violence that plague the country and communities,
resulting in enormous and long-term human, social, and economic costs, India does not
