VII. Given below are the instructions to make an omelette. Use the instructions to complete

the paragraph that follows.

Method:
1. Break two eggs in a bowl.

2. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, and green chillies.
3. Add black pepper and salt to taste.

4. Add a little milk to it.
5. Mix everything well.

6. Add a little oil in the pan.
7. Let the oil heat.

8. Pour the mixture in the pan.
9. Flip it over once it turns golden.

10. Serve hot.

Today, I made an omelette for my mother. It was quite easy. First, two eggs (a) were
broken in a bowl. Then, chopped onions, tomatoes, and green chillies (b) were added

to it. After that, black pepper and salt were added to taste. Then, a little (c) milk was
added to it and it was mixed well. After that, oil (d) was heated in a pan and the

mixture was poured into the pan. The omelette (e) was then flipped when it turned
golden. Then, the omelette (f) was served hot to my mother. She was really happy.

VIII. Given below are the instructions for making soup. Use them to complete the paragraph
that follows.

Method:
1. Mix the soup powder with 750 ml of water without allowing it to form lumps.

2. Pour the mixture into a heavy-bottomed vessel.
3. Bring it to a boil, stirring continuously.

4. Pour the soup into four soup bowls.
5. Serve, garnished with fried croutons.
