7.  Draw a chord BC such that BC = QR.

          8.  Mark a point A on the circumference of the second circle as shown in Fig. (c).

          9.  Trace ∠BAC using tracing paper and cut it to make a replica of ∠BAC. Place it on ∠QPR such that vertex
              A coincides with P as shown in Fig. (d).

        OBSERVATIONS

        We observe that chord BC = QR and ∠QPR and ∠BAC superimpose each other.

        INFERENCE

        This verifies that angles subtended in the same segment of a circle are equal.


        EXTENDED TASK
          1.  Take a circle of any radius and paste it on the cardboard. Fix three or four board pins on the circumference
              of the circle and verify the same theorem.
          2.  Take a plywood and draw a circle on it. Fix nails at equal distance on the circumference of the circle. Using
              thread create your own design and display in class.
