Foreword

IQ is a series of General Knowledge and Reasoning books for classes 1 to 8 that
provide insights into the rapidly changing world. This series enhances students’
awareness of the world around them and develops their critical thinking and
problem-solving skills, which are vital for their academic and personal growth.

Each chapter of the book is carefully constructed using challenging exercises
aided with colourful illustrations to ensure effective knowledge acquisition.
Based on the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the
National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023, the
series focuses on values, sustainability, and global awareness, helping students
