To save a copy of an existing presentation with a different filename, click Save As in the

Backstage view and save the file. PowerPoint saves all presentations with the extension
.pptx.

OPENING A PRESENTATION

You can open an existing presentation in PowerPoint 2019 to work on it again.
To open a presentation from main window:

1. Click the File tab.

The Backstage view opens.

2. Click Open.
3. Under Open, Click Browse.

The Open dialog box appears.

4. Use the dialog box to search for and select the presentation you want to open.

5. Click the Open button. Time Saver

The presentation appears in the PowerPoint Open presentation: Ctrl + O
main window.

CLOSING A PRESENTATION

A presentation must be closed after you have finished your work in it.

To close a presentation: Time Saver
1. Click the File tab. Close Presentation: Ctrl + W

The Backstage view opens.
