Zuckerberg took the company public in May 2012 with majority shares. In 2007,
at age 23, he became the world’s youngest self-made billionaire. Time magazine
has awarded Zuckerberg ‘Person of the Year’ award for 2010. In December 2016,

Zuckerberg was ranked tenth on Forbes’ list of The World’s Most Powerful People.

In January 2019, Zuckerberg laid plans to integrate three major social media
platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The update encouraged
cross-communication between Instagram and Facebook users.

Elon Musk

Elon Reeve Musk, born June 28, 1971, is a business magnate

and investor. With an estimated net worth of around $174
billion as of November 2022, Musk is the wealthiest person
in the world. Musk was born and grew up in Pretoria, South

Africa.

He attended the University of Pretoria before moving to
Canada at age 17, acquiring citizenship through his Canadian
born mother. He moved to California in 1995 to attend Stanford

University but decided to instead pursue a business career.

In 2002, Musk founded SpaceX, an aerospace manufacturer and space transport
services company. In 2008, he became the CEO of Tesla Inc. In 2006, he helped
create SolarCity, a solar energy company that was later acquired by Tesla and

became Tesla Energy. In 2013, Musk was named the ‘Fortune Businessperson
of the Year’ for SpaceX, SolarCity, and Tesla. He has proposed a hyperloop high-
speed vactrain transportation system and is the president of the philanthropic
Musk Foundation. In 2022, Musk purchased the social media platform Twitter and

appointed himself CEO.

Sabeer Bhatia

Sabeer Bhatia, a leading Indian businessman, is the co-
founder of Hotmail and associated with many other business
ventures. He was born on December 30, 1968, to a Punjabi

family in Chandigarh. He was inspired by entrepreneurs such
as Steve Jobs and decided to become one himself. Instead of

pursuing a Ph.D. after his Masters, Sabeer Bhatia decided to
join Apple in 1991. He, along with his colleague Jack Smith,
