Pattern Recognition

When something is repeated a number of times according to a certain
rule, we call it a Pattern. Examples of patterns can be found in floor tiles,

designs made on monuments, soap bubbles, and groups of starfish.

Example 1: Identify the pattern in each of the following and write or
draw the next two terms:

(a)

Here, the circle shape coloured red is followed by a square shape

coloured blue. This group is repeated here. Thus, the next two
terms are .

(b) 1A 2B 3C 4D

Here, the first part of each term is a digit, starting from 1 and the
second part is an alphabet, starting from A. Thus, the next two

terms are 5E & 6F.

Word Search

A Word Search puzzle takes words and puts them in a word grid. The

goal of the puzzle is to find all the words hidden in the grid. The words
can be found vertically, along a column or horizontally, along a row.
