ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Intelligence is the capability to observe, think, understand, and learn

from experience to develop the ability to adapt to different conditions

and situations.

For example, if you slip on a wet surface and hurt yourself, you learn

that you can fall on wet and slippery surfaces. So, experience teaches
you to check whether a surface is slippery or not the next time you go out.

Artificial Intelligence

Just like any other artificial thing, intelligence that

is created by man is called Artificial Intelligence.
The term Artificial Intelligence generally applies to

the capability given to man-made things, such as
machines, to learn by collecting information. Thus,

Artificial Intelligence, or AI in short, makes a dumb

machine appear intelligent.

Some applications of Artificial Intelligence are:

¾ Artificial Intelligence has been the major
technology behind computers playing chess.

Chess

¾ Smartphones have a virtual assistant, such as Siri

and Alexa, which can be given instructions through
voice commands.
