Tux Typing is a computer program that helps us to learn type faster. It

teaches typing through fun games which help us type more accurately too.

There are two games in Tux Typing. In the Fish Cascade game, fishes with

letters on them fall down. As you type the letters on the fish, Tux the penguin
eats the fish before they fall down. In the Comet Zap game, comets with

letters on them fall down. As you type the letters on the comets, Tux shoots

down the comets.

Typing on a keyboard without looking at the keys is called Touch Typing. It involves
the right placement of fingers on the keyboard so that most keys can be pressed

without moving your hand too much.

STARTING TUX TYPING

To start Tux Typing:

1. Click the Start button at the bottom-

left of the monitor screen. 2

2. In the list of all programs, click Tux Typing

and click Tux Typing (Full Screen).

Or

Double click the Tux Typing icon on 1

the monitor screen.

Tux Typing starts and its main menu is displayed.

USING TUX TYPING

To start a game in Tux Typing:

1. On the main menu, click Fish Cascade.

2. On the next screen, choose a difficulty level from Easy, Medium, or

Hard.
