        Read the story carefully.

        Once upon a time, a

        crow was very thirsty.

        It flew from place

        to place in search of

        water, but could not

find even a drop of it. All

        of a sudden, it caught

        sight of a pitcher on

        the ground. The crow

was overjoyed. It flew down and sat on its edge. But, to its disappointment,

the level of the water in the pitcher was very low. It tried its best to drink the

water, but all its efforts were in vain.

Suddenly an idea came to its mind. There were some pebbles lying on the

ground. It picked them up one by one and dropped them into the pitcher.

The level of the water rose up. It was delighted. It quenched its thirst and

        flew away.
