A measuring instrument is a device used for measuring a physical quantity.

Here are some instruments. Identify these instruments and complete their names.
You may use the Help Box.

            1. It is a widely used linear measurement instrument with the
least count of 0.02 mm. It is used to measure linear dimensions
like length, diameter, and depth. ________________

                                       2. It is used to check the outside diameter of a circle with an
accuracy of 0.01 mm or up to 0.001 mm. ________________

          3. It is a single-piece linear measuring instrument. It indicates two
units that are cm and inches, with cm division on one side and
              inches on the other. ________________

                                    4. It is used to determine vertical dimensions from a fixed point.
It consists of a graduated scale or bar that is held in a vertical

position by a finely ground fixed base. ________________

          5. It is also, as its name suggests, used to measure the depth
from the surface of reference of an object. ________________

                                       6. It is one of the simplest and most widely used mechanical
                                          comparators. ________________
