Foreword
What Where Why? is a series of General Knowledge books for Classes 1 to 8 that provides insight
into the rapidly changing world. This series has been designed to stimulate the interest of students
in fact-based learning of both national and international events of importance. Each page of the book
is constructed using challenging exercises aided with colourful illustrations to ensure an impactful
acquisition of knowledge. Based on the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020
and National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023, the series focuses on

covered.
