Unique Animals
Animals are living organisms. Animals can be insects, mammals, reptiles, fishes, and
other organisms other than plants.

1 Chameleon can change its colour if it is angry
or frightened.
2 Yak is the beast of burden in the

3 Octopus is an aquatic animal. It has
two big eyes, eight arms, and three
hearts.

5 Koala drinks very little water. It feeds
on the leaves of eucalyptus tree.
6 Hippopotamus means ‘river horse’. It has
the biggest mouth among land animals.
7 Platypus is called duckbill due to its long
