Simple Past : Federer won the Wimbledon yesterday, didn’t he? (negative tag)

Past Continuous : They were all going towards the beach, weren’t they? (negative tag)
: Neha was not playing the flute, was she? (positive tag)
Past Perfect : She had thrown the garbage, hadn’t she? (negative tag)
: The British had never seen such wealth before, had they? (positive tag)
Remember
Intonation is equally important while speaking. When we ask for an answer, the tone rises with
the question tag. If the answer is already known, then the voice lowers with the question tag.
