Present Continuous

          Active      :   Prateek is writing a novel.
          Passive     :   A novel is being written by Prateek.

          Active      :   The man is calling you.
          Passive     :   You are being called by the man.

          Active      :   They are helping me.
          Passive     :   I am being helped by them.

          Present Perfect
          Active      :   Khushi has eaten two mangoes.

          Passive     :   Two mangoes have been eaten by Khushi.
          Active      :   The boys have studied maths.

          Passive     :   Maths has been studied by the boys.

          Passive Voice in Past Tense

          Read the table carefully to understand how passives are formed in past tense.

           Simple Past             subject + was/were + past participle + by + object

           Past Continuous         subject + was/were + being + past participle + by + object

           Past Perfect            subject + had + been + past participle + by + object

          Simple Past

          Active      :   They expected good news.
          Passive     :   Good news was expected by them.

          Active      :   Mother bought three bags.
          Passive     :   Three bags were bought by mother.

          Past Continuous

          Active      :   Neha was speaking the truth.
          Passive     :   The truth was being spoken by Neha.

          Active      :   I was bringing fruits.
          Passive     :   Fruits were being brought by me.

          Past Perfect

          Active      :   The maid had washed the clothes.
          Passive     :   The clothes had been washed by the maid.
          Active      :   She had completed the homework.

          Passive     :   The homework had been completed by her.
