‘Tense’ means time of an action or an event.
We read about simple and continuous tenses in our earlier class. Now we shall read
about the perfect tenses—present perfect, past perfect, and future perfect tenses.
1. Present Perfect Tense: When the work is completely finished and its effect or re-
sult exists in the present, it is present perfect tense.
They have gone from here.

tain time or before another work started, it is past perfect tense.
