Don’t worry my child. The next pages
will tell you how to read the clock.

Bring a big clock to the class and introduce the minute and hour hands to the students.
Demonstrate them how to read the time on a clock using the minute and hour hands. Take a
paper plate and draw the centre point with the 12 major markings. Draw a line to each of the
12 markers extending from the clock’s centre. Tell them that each section should be coloured
with a different colour.
