A C T I V I T Y T I M E

Objective: To reinforce the concept of subtraction.
Materials Required: Number cards, paper and pencil.

Procedure: 1. This activity will be done in groups of 3 students.
2. Teacher will keep all number cards facing downwards.

3. Teacher will call three students one by one.
4. Each student will pick one card and note down the digit on the

card and paste it on a paper to form a 3-digit number.
5. The same will be repeated for another group to form another

3-digit number.
6. The teacher will write both the numbers on the board.

7. Now, both the groups will subtract the smaller number from the
bigger number.
