A year has 12 months.
The months are separated into
weeks.
Some months have 30 days and
some have 31 days.
Each week has 7 days.
A date is a particular day of a
month. To find out whether a
month has 30 or 31 days, close
your fist and check like this.
• Knuckle Bumps = 31 days
• Knuckle Gaps = 30 days
• Only February has 28 or 29 days. February has 29 days once in four years.
Such a year is called the leap year.
• January, March, May, July, August, October and December have 31 days.
• April, June, September and November have 30 days.
Calendar
1 year has 12 months. A calendar has all the twelve months of a year. January is the
first month of a year and December is the twelfth month.
