“It is a tool to measure time” 1. HOURS INTO MINUTES
Basically, there are 3-hands in a clock 1 hour = 60 minutes
1. Hour hand 12 ∴
2. Minute hand 10 11 1 2 So, Minutes = Hours × 60
3. Second hand 9 8 4 3 2. WEEK INTO DAYS
7 6 5 ∴ 1 week = 7 days
Days = Weeks × 7
Reading Concepts 3. DAYS INTO HOURS
1 day = 24 hours
∴
Half Past Hours = Day × 24
When the minute hand 11 12 1 4. MONTHS INTO DAYS
is at 6 then we read it 9 10 2 3 ∴ 1 month = 30 days
as ‘Half Past’. 8 7 6 5 4 Days = Months × 30
