Activity

Objective: To understand the concept of direct and inverse proportion.
Previous Knowledge Required: 1. Concept of ratio and proportion.

2. Concept of unitary method.
Procedure: 1. Read the contents of Table 9.1 carefully.

2. Observe the proportion between two quantities.

3. Find the value of ‘x’ and write in observation table.
4. Repeat the above steps with Tables 9.2 to 9.5 and record all your observations in the table.
5. Do the required calculations in the given space.
