Dhruv is a member of his school
          chess team. His father trains
          him while playing chess and
          he practices longer. His elder
          brother, Roshan wants to learn
          how to play.

Write the number of sides and vertices for each shape along with their names.

As you know, we have learnt the basic concept of Geometry like point, line, line segments, ray,
types of lines, open and closed figures and how to measure/draw a line segment of integer
number length in previous class. Now with the help of this chapter we will learn how to
draw/measure the line segment of fractional number length and many more.

        Pair of Lines
Parallel lines: The lines on a plane that never meet, no matter how far they are extended, are
called parallel lines. They are always the same distance apart and are represented with a pair
of vertical lines (‖) between the names of the lines.
