u The Sustainable Development Goals offer a vision of a fairer, more prosperous, peaceful and sustainable
world in which no people are left behind.
u The battle to end hunger and poverty must be principally fought in rural areas because in rural areas
approximately 80 percent of the people are hungry and poor.
u Without rapid progress in reducing the interlinkage relationship of poverty and hunger ,the full range of
Sustainable Development Goals cannot be achieved.
The 17 Sustainable goals are as follows:

from everywhere by 2030.
2. Zero Hunger: Zero Hunger is an attempt to end hunger, achieve food
security, improve nutrition intake and promote sustainable agriculture.
3. Good Health and Well-being: Health being the most important for us, Good
Health and Well-being will ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for
all at all ages.
4. Quality Education: As education enables upward socioeconomic
mobility and is a key to escaping poverty, Quality Education will ensure
inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning.
