Antony: Where are you going?
Peter: I am going to the market.
Antony: May I join you?
Peter: It will be a pleasure.
Antony asked Peter (a) where he was going. Peter replied that (b) he was going to the
market. Antony asked if (c) he could join him. Peter said that (d) it would be a pleasure.

Father: Harsh, I need somebody to take me to the airport tomorrow.
Harsh: I will take you, father. What time is your flight?
Father: 10:50 a.m.
Harsh: OK, we will leave at about 9 o’clock for the airport.
Father told Harsh that (a) he needed somebody to take him to the airport the next day.
Harsh said that (b) he would take him to the airport and enquired about (c) the timings
of his flight. Father replied that (d) his flight was at 10:50 a.m. Harsh said that then
(e) they would leave at about 9 o’clock for the airport.

Daughter: What would you like for your birthday, mother?
Mother: A book would be nice.
Daughter: Father, which book should we buy for mother?
Father: I think she should like ‘The Lord of the Rings’ by J.R.R. Tolkein.
Daughter asked her mother (a) what she would like for her birthday. Mother replied that

mother. Father thought that (d) she would like ‘The Lord of the Rings’ by J.R.R. Tolkein.
