A FEW TOOLS & TECHNIQUES

Unlike Vansh, instead of falling prey to faulty thinking, you could engage in the following
        behaviours:

        1. Try to get your thrills through performing or creative arts like drama and theatre.

        2. It is okay to engage in safe experimentation such as colouring or cutting your hair, trying on
makeup, and experimenting with clothes, etc.

        3. Never close down the communication channels between you and your parents because they love
you the most in this world and will also try to protect you as much as they can.

        4. Develop effective peer pressure-handling skills, such that even if peers threaten you that no one
will talk to you or no one would consider you cool, you should stay strong and stick to your

beliefs and sense of right and wrong.

        5. When parents set rules for you, it’s not because they don’t understand you or don’t want to see
things from your perspective. It is because they have seen much more of life and the world than
you have and understand the risks that each one of us can face when we step out.
