A FEW TOOLS & TECHNIQUES


        Like Harsh, if you experience situations where others are in disagreement with you, you can
        make use of the following tips:

        1.   Agree to disagree and use positive language to express your views. The more negative your tone and

             words are, the more likely it is that you will receive a negative response from the other person.

        2.  Try to understand others from their perspective, rather than imposing your own perspective.

        3.  Look for more similarities than differences. You will definitely find more than you think.

        4.   Do not personalise a disagreement. Think of it as an opportunity to understand the other
             person better.

        5.   Take responsibility for your own feelings. It is your own job to accept and embrace reality as it is

             and act accordingly.
