4. Try to stay positive: Try not to dwell deep into your negative emotions and avoid imagining
situations around it. On the contrary, try and focus more on staying positive and counting the
blessings you have in your life.
5. Monitor your self-talk: We feel more rejected when we take everything that comes from others
at face value and also start telling ourselves negative things like ‘I am stupid’, ‘I should have
known better’, ‘I can never be successful at this’, and so on.
6. Use rejection to your advantage: Occasions where you feel rejected may also show you areas
where there is scope for improvement. So, it’s better to focus on self-improvement, instead of
fretting over rejection.
