Viewing an HTML Document in a Browser 3

You need not be connected to the Internet in order to view
your HTML code. All you need to do is open the HTML file
in a web browser.
To view an HTML document in Microsoft Edge:

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Press Ctrl + O keys.
The Open dialog box appears.

3. Select the HTML document you want to view and
click the Open button.
Microsoft Edge displays the content of the selected HTML document.

You can also view an HTML file in a web browser by typing the HTML document’s path in the address bar
of the web browser.

Editing an HTML Document
You can easily edit an existing HTML document to modify the existing code or add new code to it.
To edit a document:
1. Open the HTML document you want to

edit in Notepad.
2. Make the required changes in the
document.
3. Click Save in the File menu or press Ctrl
+ S keys.
4. Open the document in Microsoft Edge
to view the changes.
