Native apps are meant to be standalone apps and do not require an Internet connection to function.
Native apps are developed for a specific mobile platform using particular programming languages and
technologies. Examples of native apps are calculator, clock apps, and organiser apps. They deliver an
exceptional user experience and are perfect for solving complicated tasks.
Web Apps
A Web app is an application that is accessed via a web browser over a network such as the Internet.
They are created using web technology such as HTML5. Web apps typically run in a web browser. These
apps store data in cloud and provide access to it on demand. WhatsApp, Instagram, Pinterest, and
Snapchat are some examples of web apps.
Hybrid Apps
A Hybrid app is a combination of a native app and a web app. It is installed on the device and can
function without an Internet connection, but some data is stored on the cloud and cannot be accessed
without an Internet connection. Music and video streaming apps and gaming apps are examples of
hybrid apps.
