1. Computers playing chess
Artificial Intelligence has been the major
technology behind computers playing chess.
Deep Thought and Deep Blue are two famous
computers which played against human
opponents and defeated them.
2. Virtual Assistants in Smartphones
Every smartphone has a virtual assistant which can be given
instructions through voice commands. Siri in Apple’s iPhones
and Google Assistant in Android phones are examples of virtual
assistants. As you use them, they learn about your preferences
and give results accordingly.
3. Navigation and Maps
Smartphone apps such as Google Maps use artificial
intelligence to learn a person’s movements and shows them
navigation results based on their past travelling information.
4. Robots
Robots are machines designed to look and act similar
to humans. They have bodies and limbs like humans. AI
assists robots to interact with people, respond to voice
commands, and display emotions such as empathy
and sympathy. Robots have also been trained to play
competitive sports such as football.
5. Driverless Cars
Driverless cars use AI to drive and navigate through
traffic, just like a human driver. They learn common
routes and using the information from satellites,
can plan a faster route to the desired destination.
6. Smart Devices
Smart devices such as Amazon Echo and Google
Home devices are one of the most common
applications of Artificial Intelligence. These devices
