OPENING A PROGRAM 2
To open a program:
1. Click the Start button.
2. Scroll through the list of programs. 3
3. Click the name of the program you want
to open.
The program opens in a window. 1
SHUTTING DOWN A COMPUTER
After you have completed your work, shut down
the computer to conserve electricity. 3
To shut down a computer:
1. Click the Start button.
2. Click the Power option. 2
3. Click the Shut Down option. 1
4. Once the computer shuts down, switch off the monitor and UPS.
5. Switch off the main power supply.
